Shared Decision-Making E-Learning Course

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Health Care Homes program offers free online learning resources that support the state’s focus on the redesign of care delivery and meaningful engagement of patients. This training is free for everyone. The training was developed by Stratis Health in conjunction with MDH Health Care Homes.

This approximately 1-hour course will explore shared decision-making, a model of patient-centered care. Topics include defining and describing the shared decision-making approach, when and how to make use of shared decision-making, and what steps should be taken when implementing this model in your organizational setting. Participants will be connected to tools and resources to support the employment of the shared decision-making approach.
